Best steak at Disney??

A good friend of mine just returned from WDW and had eight sit-down meals where she ordered steak each time. She had eight different table service meals (all were one dining credit meals--not signature) and her favorite steak of the week? Whispering Canyon! I was shocked!! She loved her steak at Grand Floridian Cafe and Teppan Edo--I know they dined at Kona--still, I was just floored when she told me the best one was at WCC!

Now, the best steak I have had at the world would probably be at Artist Point. I was not OVERLY impressed with Jiko's version. I like Le Cellier. DH loved the steak at Flying Fish. Without a doubt, the WORST steak I have ever had in my life was at Tutto Italia. It was just HORRID! We ordered seven steaks and had seven people saying it was awful. Couldn't find the waiter to complain...Couldn't find the server for silverware...Tracked down the manager who did nothing. This was two years ago. We actually returned to Tutto later that year because of friends dining with us and steering clear of the steak we had a decent meal--not great. Oh, yes...I told the hostess we would not want to be served by Roberto if he was still there...;)

We tried the Grand Floridian Cafe on our recent trip. We had the NY strip and it was excellent. The potatoes that came with it were so yummy and we ate 2 baskets of bread. A surprise place for us--we will go back.

I have to say this was the same for us in Nov , this was the first time eating there and it was the best meal of out trip, It will be on the top of my list next time we go.
