Best SSR room request for parents

Visiting WDW the week of Dec. 21st -30th and looking for suggestions as to what would be the best building at SSR to request for my 75 year old parents. Dad has no mobility issues but Mom has difficulty walking and I doubt she will consent to use a wheelchair or scooter. They will have a car but are planning on using Disney transportation except when they visit Celebration.

I would go with congress park or another building that is close to the bus stop.The bus stops Are all on the main street that runs thru SSR.It's a wide open resort that is spread out.Why not stay the extra few days for New Years ?

That is probably the best option for your parents as it is relatively quiet with a not very busy pool and easy access to bus transportation.
