Best spot to watch Illuminatons

I've watched for ages just to the right of torch #10, in front of Japan. I can normally walk up 15 minutes before show time and get a spot on the railing, and the view of almost everything is unobstructed.
We actually said our farewells to the first ten minutes of Illuminations (as well as a "good riddance" to the last three) a couple days ago because I'm assuming that by next February when we're scheduled to return the show will be gone in preparation for the replacement.

I don’t understand the very specific reference to singling out those particular segments of the show.
