My DH & I saw Wishes on the night of MVMCP back in early December 2003 and we stood in Liberty Square over by the Hall of Presidents. We saw the fireworks pretty good, but wondered if there's a better area to view this from? I was told it wasn't as important as the previous fireworks display to be in front of the castle, but was I missing anything?

We'll be there in mid-May with my teen neice & nephew so we'll be able to roam whereever. Any suggestions for better viewing?

I'm a traditionalist. I always watch the fireworks from somewhere on Main St. Personally, I like the effect that they are over the castle from that angle. Might be something to try.

It is nice to view the fireworks from Main Street, but depending where on Main Street you end up you might miss some things, such as Tinker Bell's flight from the castle.

Try moving over towards the Crystal Palace. Be careful over here, however, as there are some clumps of trees that could partially block your view. We had a moderate angle viewing the fireworks and trying to keep the castle in the shot, but we were able to do so. Also, we were able to get some great footage of Tinker Bell flying from the castle.

Last Jan. we stood on the walkway from the hub to Fantasyland and it was great, especially for taping! The fireworks were just to the right of the castle and Tinkerbell flew right over our heads!!! :teeth:

We stood across the street from the Confectionary on Main Street and had a marvelous view of the fireworks and Tink. There's a little bridge there that also affords you something to lean against and place your beverage/whatever.

I think that the castle is the real focal point of Wishes and that the closer you can be to a front and center view the better!

On the way over to Tomorrow Land there is the restaurant the Plaza Pavillion - by this time the restaurant is pretty empty and the outside seating is the perfect setting to watch the Castle Festivities. Tinkerbell goes right over you heads in her flight from the castle. We have found this to be the perfect place, no obstuction and tables and chairs are plentiful.

I was also wondering where to watch Wishes. These sound like good spots. How soon do you need to stake out these spots to see the show? Is it like the parades where you need to really get there early?
Thanks for your help.
