Best spot for a milkshake

Thanks everyone!! There are some ideas that I hadn't even thought of! That red, white and blue drink looked awesome. Maybe I will need to print several of those "coupons"!!! But we have ones for a churro, a mickey bar, cotton candy, a cupcake, popcorn and several others! I glad someone came along and pointed those that were asking about the coupons in the right direction. bababear_50 is the one that made most of the ones I am going to use. Many print them and make a book for someone. We take ours, put them in an envelope and make it look like someone pushed it under our door during the night. Our DS believes Mickey drops by and leaves him something special. We take the coupon and distract him while dad pays and he thinks the coupon is what got him his treat. We have done them for a few years but this was our first year with a milkshake coupon. So again, that everyone for all the wonderful milkshake spots! I may have to run home after this vacation to work off all these treats!!

I'd go for the shakes at Sci-Fi. Really good. I wasn't impressed with my malt shake at Beaches & Cream in Feb.

I went on a hunt for a really thick shake (I like to eat it with a spoon as opposed to drink it). The 50's PBJ I had was good one time (a little thinner than I prefer but still good) and icy another. At Sci-fi they told me that the shakes (at least oreo/cookies & cream) were from a machine. Never had one from Beaches & cream cus I'm too distracted by the sundaes but either there, Ghirardelli or the Plaza will probably be my next stop. I'm assuming because they're handmade that they can make them extra thick!

We already have ADRs at Sci-Fi and the Plaza so we may get one at each and then a special one with his coupon!! Oh....we have a funnel cake and a dole whip coupon too. Wonder if there is going to be any room for "real" food!!

I was looking for a good spot for milkshakes for my wife, it's her favorite dessert item. A lot of people had told me Beaches and Cream was the best, but now after reading this I'm thinking I have to go to 50's for the PB&J. Can you get it takeout or to go or is it with dinner only?

50's Prime Time Cafe's peanut butter shake and Beaches n' Cream vanilla are both fantastic!

50s Prime Time. PB&J or seasonal. You can get one to go in the lounge if you aren't eating there.

You can get it to go at the Tune In lounge next door or you can get it with lunch/dinner.
