*Best Special Splurge Dinner...

If you were to splurge on one dinner at WDW, where would you go? I've provided some options, but please, add your own. Please vote for your TWO favorites.

I have to vote Victoria & Alberts and Artist Point. We had super meals at both places during our last trip. V&A is the absolute best! We had a friend with us who had never been there before and he is now absolutely hooked. I'm sure it will be on our dining itinerary the next trip we take with him.

Victoria and Alberts, then Schulas Steak House.

If you like steak, Schula's is by far the best on property.

I voted for California Grill and Yactsman Steakhouse. They have to be two of my favorite restaurants. DH and I went to V & A. We didn't have the best experience. We didn't feel it was that special at all.

We had never eaten at any of the restaurants on your list until a few weeks ago when our clan of 14 were "guests" at Shula's complete with a private dining room and five or six wait staff! What a once in a life time experience! We were treated like royalty!

Is California Grill the only restaurant listed in which one can see the fireworks at dinner?

It's not on the list, but I know that you can see the fireworks from Ohana at the Poly. Are there any restaurants at the GF that you can see fireworks?

I voted for the California Grill & Yachtsman Steakhouse. Both are the best meals on Disney property!!

I just voted for Other because of Narcoosee's. This is our favorite splurge restaraunt. We usually eat there on our last night so we can watch the fireworks and say goodbye to WDW! As of last March, they still piped in the music to Wishes. I heard that California Grill recently stopped doing this.

V&A is too formal for me - I am sure I would enjoy it, but just not excited about putting on a coat and tie to eat at WDW. Cal Grill is overated in my opinion - the food is great, but all the hullabaloo about being there to see the fireworks detracts from the overall dining experience.

Jiko is my favorite restaurant at WDW. Great and inventive food, a super wine list and wonderful service. The decor is also lovely and being at AKL is always a treat.

At the end of the day, you can't go wrong with any of the restaurants listed as options.

I would have to say V & A - I've never been there, but have read wonderful reviews and have dreamed about it... We were supposed to go for our 5th anniversary, but DS arrived right before then... My other pick would definitely be O'Hana's at the Poly. It is our favorite go-to place - every b-day, anniversary, special occasion.

So far our favorite splurge restaurant is Fulton's Crab House. I love the king crab claws and lobster there. We haven't tried the California Grill or V & A's yet or the Yachtsman or Shula, but plan to in the future. We've been to FUlton's 2 or 3x now so maybe this year we'll try one of those mentioned.

My wife and I love Jiko at AKL. Although the menu may be exotic for some the food, service and South African wine list is great.

I have not tried most on your list so I didn't vote. I don't want to skew the votes unfairly.

I have only tried Flying Fish and Cali Grill. Both were great. Cali Grill is my all time favorite. I recommend it to everyone.

However, since I haven't yet tried the others I can not fairly compare.

I would love to try Jiko and Yachtsmen. V&A seems a little too much for me. I really doubt I'll ever try that one. Just me, nothing against it. I would love to have the chance to try the others though.
