:thumbsup2 Just looking for everyones opinion on their favorite sneaker and/or sandal for the parks. No Croc choices please. I want to bring a pair of each.

Thank you :sunny:

My favorites are Teva sandals and New Balance sneakers. I have flat feet and the New Balance have extra support in the arch. I think they are for overpronation. I have Teva flip flops for the water parks and Stratum sandals for the parks. :sunny:

Oh, I think my sneakers were $125. Sorry.

Tevas are great! We wear them all of the time and have never had blisters or other foot problems. Dh is a long distance runner and is picky about all of his shoes. Even he likes his Tevas.

Pixiedust34 - The pic with your family....that wouldn't happen to be the Tevas on your feet, would they?

I bought Merrell High tides last summer and wore them most every day. They're waterproof and can just be thrown in the wash, and are so comfortable. Tevas never fit me right in the toes.

New Balance slip ons! 12 hours in the Magic Kingdom and not a single pinch or pain!

Teva Pretty Rugged Sandals in Leather or nylon (but the leather is a tad more comfy).

Nothing but Good water shoes for us (DD does Crocs as well).

We have Solomons ,Ecco's and Northface .They are light have great support and wick the water right out for the wet rides.

The Solomons convert to a Mule type shoe as the hell folds down into the sole area These are my everyday shoe right now .

I get my new balance sneakers at Shoe Carnival for less than 50 and my birkenstocks at Sam's club for 39. There is both for less than 100!

Someone here on the boards recommended Keen to me and I bought a pair. They are great. Very comfy and I wore them even more than my Crocs on my last visit. (About $80.00)

Tevas have always been my sandal of choice with my Birkenstocks running a close second. I find the Tevas better for park touring then I switch to my Birkenstocks for evening/non-park activities.

I think you are on the right track planning to have a couple of options. No matter how much I love each of my several pairs of Tevas and Birkenstocks, it always revives my feet to have a change of footwear once a day (and after all the rave Croc reviews, I think I'll need to add them to the lineup too!)

Yes--we are wearing Tevas in that picture. :thumbsup2

The only problem I have with the TEVA's or other sandles is when it gets crowded your toes get stepped on ,scraped up or I just forget to put sunblock on my feet and they get burned.

Thats why I favor the Better quality water shoes.

And always 2 or more pairs of shoes you should never wear the same pair of shoes 2 days in a row .It's not good for your feet.

Which style of Birkenstock do you recommend? Are they comfortable for a long long day?

Thanks!
