Best snacks for the studios

I am about to do a split stay, 4 nights each at Boardwalk and then Copper Creek. What are people's goto snacks for preparing in the room, when you only have a microwave, toaster and a mini fridge to store things in? I am not looking for full meals, more that thing to eat first thing, and maybe when heading back for a siesta, or after fireworks and you need something for the end of the night. Any recommendations?

I have water and coke zero on my list as park prices for those are crazy. I was possibly thinking some bagels and cream cheese as only the latter needs to go in the fridge, and maybe some microwave popcorn as there should be some good buckets from star wars day. What else?

We will not have a car, and so while adult beverages would be good, the delivery rules for Amazon Fresh make that a bit more complicated. I can probably fit a bottle or two of wine in our suitcases (checked baggage).

We never have Microwave popcorn as we always get a refill when we are leaving the park whether it is maple popcorn from Canada or the normal kind.

We certainly always have bagels and cream cheese but remember bell services no longer will refrigerate items but you should be able to stop by at Roaring Fork to grab a few individual cream cheeses.

We also buy the entimans mini chocolate chip muffins as we can also bring those into the park if someone gets Hangry.

We also get a loaf of Cinnamon bread to toast along with bananas and cereal.

We pack our Starbucks (we like darker roasts) in the suitcase and then buy half & half when we arrive.

We keep it simple and enjoy individually packaged fruit cups (the kind with real fruit juice - lower sugar), bagels with peanut butter, granola bars, string cheese, individual Baby Bell cheese, Triscuits, etc. Essentially, a low-key charcuterie (aka adult Lunchables) approach. Some of these items can be purchased in the markets within the DVC resorts, and they're small enough to fit in the small fridge in the studio rooms.

Hope you have a wonderful trip - 8-night split-stay in Boardwalk and Copper Creek will be fantastic!

Its been years since we were in a studio but I think they are just coolers? I would think frozen breakfast sandwiches would be fine for a week as you can thaw them and they are each sealed in plastic as well.

Great way to save breakfast costs and time.

Our go-to grocery order is string cheese, apples, Greek yogurt cups, 1/2 gal milk, Life cereal, cashews, and goldfish crackers. That’s it. We used to get more but it didn’t get eaten. But we like to eat our way around the parks and enjoy some food at the resort, too, so this is just for quick breakfasts, an afternoon refuel if coming back to the room, or bedtime snack if the kids are hungry.

Yikes, when did bell services stop refrigerating items? I have a split stay in two weeks and I was hoping to bring my refrigerated items from AKV to BCV for storage until my room is ready. I am bringing two zippered insulated bags with me and was planning to put some bags of ice in with the items that need to stay cold. I was still hoping to have them put those bags in the refrigerator at BCV.

They’ll store those items, but they won’t transport them from one resort to another (they don’t have the right trucks). As long as you bring them yourself, separated and clearly marked for refrigeration and/or freezing, they’ll store them appropriately.

We usually like to have some fruit, yogurt (sometimes opting for Chobani yogurt in bottles), string cheese, bagels or English muffins, peanut butter, crackers and orange juice. I also order Coke and Sprite in 2-liter bottles, bottles of water, and sometimes Gatorade. Uncrustables are quick and easy to have on hand.

I always get fresh fruits (grapes and pineapples) for my stay, regardless of Villa size. I feel like I never get enough fresh fruits when I’m on vacation.
