Just wondering what the best snacks for snack credits are, in your opinion? We have only ever gotten Mickey bars with them and I usually let my niece have my credits during our trips. I've never actually tried to use them decently! Lol. We have someone severely allergic to all nuts and to cinnamon, so anything that includes those is out. Thanks!!

For us, the best was the Starbucks coffee. Any drink, any size was a snack credit. We also bought a lot of popcorn but that was for the kids.
There is a snack credit thread that is very extensive and includes prices around here somewhere. That will help you see what all the options are.

Most delicious (and heaviest;) was the apple blossom with soft serve ice cream and caramel sauce at Tril o bytes in AK

Our faves are the berry puff pastry in Norway:

and any of the cupcakes at Starring Rolls (but especially the Butterfinger!)

This thread will give you a lot of great ideas about what's available:

Oops! Duh there's a thread for this. I should have looked, sorry! But mmm...that pastry is making me hungry - thanks for sharing your opinions!

After our 1st WDW trip, when I had to cash out 36 snack credits in the AKL gift shop (cookies, candy, popcorn anyone??) I realized that our family really doesn't snack much. After that trip we began using our snack credits as a light breakfast or to tide us over for a late adr. Our favorite place to use snack credits that qualify as a light meal is at Epcot in France at Boulangerie Patisserie les Halles. Amazing food and good portions. Also smoothies and soft pretzels at various stands around WDW.

Dole Whip!!!!

All the sweets are really good, but some places have savory items as well. Like above, many stands in Epcot have small items like a curry chicken pocket, sushi, mac & cheese, chili fries. Other parks have hummus/veggies, stuffed pretzels, and breadsticks.

One of my favorites is Candy Cauldron in DTD. Everything in the shop needs to be in my belly!

Also if you really don't expect to use them, use 1-2 each day for bottled drinks. I wouldn't normally recommend that but it's better than not using them at all! Rice krispie treats and cookies are good take home items for later or as souvenir gifts.

Funnel Cake at Sleepy Hollow. also the giant ice cream cookie sandwhich.
The soup at Be Our Guest as a snack credit.
Chicken Fried Rice at Animal Kingdom.
Storybook Treats - Strawberry shortcake Sundae, hot fudge browning sundae and the hot carmel chocolate chip sundae.

any of the Patries in France also the Ice Cream in France and the crepes if you like them.

there is so much you can get. We love getting cupcakes to share also. look at the confirmed snack thread it will give you tons of ideas.

Depending on when you're going, you may have some great options in Epcot! If during the Fall, you can use them at the Food and Wine booths, in the Spring at the Flower and Garden Outdoor Kitchen booths, or during Christmas at the booths they have (or had last year) featuring Christmas treats. Those usually offer great value for your credits!

It depends really, and while my list is long I'd highly recommend anyone try is the Werther's chewy caramel shortbread bars in Germany from the Werther's store. In a close second would be the Dole Whip float at Aloha Isle, in MK. Both definitely worth a snack credit.
