Hi everyone! This is our first trip to WDW,and I'm wondering what snacks are the best. We'll be eating breakfast at GKTW,as well as most dinners(it's free ;) ),and have lunch ps for Sci-Fi,CRT,and Garden Grill. It will be dh,ds,dd and my parents and I.We all want a Mickey Bar,but other than that,we have no idea.Prices would be helpful too. Thanks so much!! :sunny:

Drooling as a I recommend a Dole Whip from Aloha Isle in the Mk ($2.79 for the soft serve $2.99 for the float) ....mmm foodgasm. Also the Citrus swirl from Sunshine Tree Terrace $2.99. Frozen Lemonade from Animal Kingdom, Mickey shape rice Krispie treats from the Main St bakery, and frozen bananas are all on my must have list. Oh yeah cant forget the turkey legs from MGM too.....

With three kids always wanting ice cream or a smoothie, we tried LOTS of the snacks the World has to offer. Here are the ones I remember:

Mickey Bar: Loved it. I'm not a big ice cream bar fan, so I passed the first time the kids got one. But I AM a big dark chocolate fan, so I had to have one the next time. The price ($2.50) isn't even that bad...we'd probably pay $4 for something similar at the State Fair.

Dole Whip at MK: I know we're going to be craving Dole Whips this whole long summer!

Ice Cream at Beaches & Cream: Okay, but the burgers were better.

Ice Cream at Ghiradellia at DTD: Terrific! We had one of the 2 for one coupons (worth $6.99! Thanks DISers!) DH and DS split a caramel sundae and DDS split a banana split and I got a chocolate soda. Pure bliss.

Crepes at Epcot: Pretty good, but they were pre-made and they just warmed them. I like it better when they make them in front of you.

Sweet pretzel in Norway at Epcot: Good - kind of like an iced sweet roll, but good. (I'm allergic to coconut, so we skipped the school bread.)

French pastries at Epcot: All 5 of us got a different thing and each was better than the next. I had the lemon tart and it was tangy and refreshing.

Churros at AK (in Africa): Yummy. DS discovered churros while at Disneyland, so we had to eat some when we found them at AK. A British lady was behind me in line and had no idea what churros were, but I assured her that she'd love it.

Smoothies: The ones my kids liked best were from the stand at MGM near Rockin Rollercoaster. They said the others were more like Icees.

Good question. I keep hearing about the Dole Whip. Where can you buy it? Can you buy it at other resorts or parks? :bounce:

A Dole Whip is this lusciuos dessert/snack that is pineapple soft serve ice cream. You can get vanilla swirled in with the pineapple also. There is also the Dole Whip Float where it's literally an ice cream float using scrumptious pineapple juice with the soft serve. Add it to your list!

Also, ice cream from the ice cream stand in France, Cannoli's in Italy, Mickey Pretzels and FUNNEL CAKE!

Goofy's Candy Co., at downtown disney! You can create your own candied apple, rice crispy treat, and covered marshmallows. They will dip an apple in caramel, white, milk, or dark chocolate, and then cover it with your choice of toppings. They will do the same with marshmallows or rice crispy treats. My 6 year old grandson chose: Three marsmallows skewered on a Mickey straw, they were then dunked in milk chocolate, and then covered in crushed Butterfingers. I must say, they were delicious!
