best sites or tips for home organization?

Hey everyone!

I was at barnes and noble yesterday browsing the home organization section and there were some really great books but I decided to check online first before buying anything (trying to be budget conscious!). I looked online but could not find any good sites..

can someone direct me to the best home organization/cleaning sites and if you yourself have any great tips, tricks, or pictures of how you keep your home organized and running like a well oiled machine I would love to know!

Subbing, since my "routines" (using that loosely) definitely need a spring shake-up too!

I did try Fly Lady a long time ago, and picked up a couple of good tips, but it ended up being too many e-mails for me and I unsubscribed.

I like Fly Lady too.

I just started about 2 months ago and though there are many e-mails I have learned to pick and choose. I look at what the subject lines are and if I am interested I open it - love the daily routine e-mails or delete it without even opening it - anything to do with flylady radio, etc... It's like she says it's about picking and choosing what is best for you and your family.

I get some great ideas such as having my family clean the car out every Friday. We do it just as we pull in the driveway coming home after school. I hand the kids each a bag and out everything goes - no leftover shoes from soccer, wrappers from dinners eaten on the way to piano lessons or mittens without matches hanging around.

www.organizedhome.com is a good site. It has pages you can download and print to make a home binder similar to the one flylady does.

Gotta go with the Flylady! You can receive her e-mails in digest form, so you just get one per day with the various reminders...

I must admit that I was totally overwhelmed by Fly Lady. Her philosophy of baby steps and routines were gems, but the emails began to pile up.

I now subscribe to motivated moms yahoo group. She sells a calender with a daily checklist. You can pay for the up to date calendar that prints from your computer in several formats or you can use an older year's version for free.
