We would like to go away in Feb but everything seems so expensive. I don't care where we go so have thought about just trying to find a last minute deal and just go. We don't even care if we just book a day or two before we leave. Where should I be looking? Thanks

(I did try posting on the budget boards too)

TNT Vacations

Skyauction.com has great deals. Also luxurylink.com is great. It's sort of an ebay for luxury travel. I've stayed in some great resorts that in no way could I afford to stay at, paying regular prices.

Good luck.

If you are looking to go away Presidents Week. Good Luck, that is one week where you can never book last minute. People who do travel that week book very early. I have been in the business for 16 years going on 17 and people never learn. Now to be fair. Hotels do have space, the challenge is that there is not enough air lift to the Caribbean or Mexico. 5 years ago there were more than 2 non stop flights a day to most of these places. Now you are lucky if there are 2.

Good Luck but my advice would be to choose another week.
