Looking for suggestions as the best sit-down lunch in World Showcase of Epcot. 2 adults and 2 kids with one being pretty picky. Have done San Angel before (and was not real impressed). Any and all advice would be GREATLY appreciated!
:rotfl:

We've had great lunches at Chefs de France (nice selection and less expensive than eating there at dinner). We also like Rose and Crown Pub for lunch but their menu is a bit more limited ... I don't know what their kids menu is like but it could be hard for a picky adult to find something to eat there aside from fish and chips, which are wonderful (they bring them over from Harry Ramsden's fish & chip place that's right next door).

Electric Umbrella (CS) has traditional, hot dogs, hamburgers, salads...(Next to MouseGear)
Rose and Crown has fish and chips and a good cheese plate (UK)
Sunshine Seasons, has things for everyone (Located in the land)

Chefs de France or Biergarten - both are good values at lunch, if you are not using the DDP.

I think Le Cellier's lunch menu is inferior to its dinner one (the menu recently changed so my experience might be less valid now).

Chefs de France is excellent and our favorite. The french onion soup is great.

Not really, we have plenty more options than fish and chips.

And out of those three, only Rose and Crown is a sit-down restaurant. I know the PP probably knew that but I didn't want the OP to be confused.

I would suggest Biergarten. It's great for picky and adventerous eaters alike. It's a great value with it being a buffet. And the entertainment provides for a fun dining experience.

We ate lunch at Tutto and Le Cellier, out of the two I think Le Cellier was the best, but Tutto was still excellent.

The lunch menu for Le Cellier is still pretty varied, we both had the fillet which was lovely (it is a smaller fillet for lunch compared to dinner though)

I would say Chefs de France for the food, Coral Reef for the view. I have found the food at Chefs de France to be consistently good, and unusual enough from what is easy to find around us at home to be a bit of a treat. Coral Reef has less good food - usually average to somewhat above average seafood - but dining right by the aquarium is a treat if anyone in your family is even remotely interested in aquatic life. (I know its not in the World Showcase, but it is nearby in Epcot. I can't get DS to eat much there, but he sits and watches the fish happily through the entire meal.)

My top three favorite restaurants in Epcot are Nine Dragons, Chefs de France, and Biergarten. Any of these restaurants are suitable for kids of any age, and there is truly something for everybody. :)

My kids absolutely loved our lunch at Chefs de France in August. The food and service were both great, and atmosphere is very nice too.

We just tried Biergarten for the first time and it was one of the highlights of our trip. :thumbsup2 I don't know why I had been avoiding it for so long, but boy was I missing out.

I've done Le Cellier for lunch probably 7 or 8 times, needless to say it is our favorite. We've also had a very nice lunch at Chefs de France. I had lunch at Tokyo Dining which i enjoyed but DW was overly impressed, probably not good for a picky eater. San Angel Inn is probably my least favorite of any of the TS restaurants at WDW and I love Mexican food.

Biergarten is a must for us each trip.:thumbsup2 Even my DS who is on the picky side loves it. Its great because even though they might not like something, they can at least try it. But there was plenty that they loved. Enjoy

Perhaps I should have said a picky American? ;)

I'm looking at the menu and although I'm not as picky an eater as I used to be, I still am pretty choosy about what I eat from necessity as well as preference and I see three lunch entrees that a truly picky person might order: fish & chips, soup and sandwich (but why eat turkey in England?), and a chicken breast. No picky eater worth his or her salt is going to order bangers and mash, shepherd's pie, curry, or Indian-spiced salad ... and that picky person probably wouldn't order the tamarind pork loin either.

That's just my take on it and that's why I always order the fish and chips - no fuss, no muss, and tasty, especially washed down with some Boddys. :thumbsup2

Chefs de France, totally. We just had lunch there as part of the Candlelight Processional package and it was great. Their flatbreads are amazing.
