Best Signature?

Our meal two nights ago at Artist Point was our best at that restaurant to date. The butternut squash risotto with pork belly was out of this world. When Matt, its new chef, came to discuss my cousin's peanut allergies, he ended up chatting with us ten minutes, then brought us a few dessert samples with which he was experiment.

As we were leaving, I told him, "I'm sure you guys get a lot of pressure from the dining plan to streamline your menu. Please resist." He smiled. "It's not gonna happen," he assured us.

citricos and flying fish are my favorites. great food, comfortable atmosphere, and fabulous service. i've had 2 great and one so-so meal at both california grill and narcoossee's but would easily do either again. also, although not on the dining plan we've had great meals at bluezoo and shula's at well.

Another vote for Jiko, just a wonderful dining experience all around. Good food, great atmosphere, delightful server, and in a beautiful location.

Thanks for all the great suggestions! We are on the DxDP. I think we are either going to go with Jiko or AP. We are staying at the Wilderness so it might be nice to have dinner right there. I appreciate everyone's help! DISboards are the best!

We LOVE Yachtsman!! Even though it is expensive, we're going to spend 2TS on every trip from now on. Super great steaks that you can cut through with a butter knife. Yum yum yum...

If on the DDP, our favorite signatures are either Flying Fish or Artist Point. At Flying Fish I love the tomato/mozzarella salad, mussels, cheese plate, scallops with risotto, steak, and any of their dessert trios. At Artist Point we love the mushroom soup, mussels, and buffalo. We used to love their berry cobbler, but not so much since they've changed it a few years ago. I go to WDW several times a year usually on the DxDDP so normally eat at almost all of the signaure restaurants (including Artist Point) every trip. Something that happened sort of odd this past Dec was that the waitress said that since we were on the DxDDP we got an extra side from the ones listed on the bottom of the menu. At first I thought it was just our waitress making a mistake, but then heard the waiter at the next table telling his large party that they each got to choose an extra side because they too were on the DxDDP. This is the only signature restaunt that week that we were told to order an extra side.
