I've been debating and debating about our ADR choices, and I'm just not that thrilled with Chef Mickey's (because of the recent reviews) or Boma (because of the unknown) so I'm thinking about scrapping those and doing a 2 TS meal instead. Any input as to which signature restaurant one is the best? We LOVE steak, but are not hip on seafood. Also, we don't drink wine, so we don't need something with a killer wine list. Anyway, any input would be appreciated. Thank you!! :goodvibes

You're probably going to have people suggest almost every signature. I think it depends on your taste so make sure you look at the menus on allearsnet.

Our favorite is Jiko. I had a great filet with mac and cheese there in Dec. It was soooo good and probably our second best meal (our best was V&A). We definitely plan to go back there in june.

I think that Citrico's is also terrific. It's 1/2 step down from V&A without the jacket-for-men dress code.

Mmmmm - great suggestions. I will definitely pop over to Allears as well. The problem is that everything looks so good - LOL.

The Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club - has great steaks that are hand cut everyday and they freshly prepare all their food daily. I have celebrated many special days - birthday's etc. there. The dining room is alot of wood and it overlooks stormalong bay (pool) at the Yacht and Beach Club resorts.

We have always had a great meal there. The Chef's and Managers still understand guest service.

Have a great time where ever you decide.

Jiko is our favorite! The food (especially the filet) is fantastic and varied. The atmosphere is quieter than some of the other signatures.

I think also it depends on the atmosphere you are looking for. Are you planning to go just you and DH or are you taking children? Although JIKO has great food, it's very quiet and somewhat dark in there and some younger children may be bored. Ca Grill is livelier and has great views, is well lit, probably a place children would be happier visiting. Signature dinners generally take a bit longer to get through. Our most recent meal at JIKO a few weeks ago was 2 hours 20 minutes. We loved it but we are all adults and enjoy just sitting.

So my vote would be JIKO if it's only adults and Ca Grill if taking children. Both have very good food.

We will definitely be including my 4 year old DD, so your comments about Jiko are definitely appreciated. My DD is generally well behaved, but she's also a toddler which means she's unpredictible! Anyway, thank you very much!

We love Jiko's and CA Grill. We will be taking our DS2 to both this trip. I actually think the lights that change color in Jiko's are sure to keep him fascinated!
