Best Shows in each Park?

I wondered if people could weigh in with their opinions on best/favourite 'shows' in each of the parks? We have 5 day park hoppers, with two kids aged 7 & 8 - both fairly mature, but also like some of the younger set stuff still. We have planned much of our park strategy so far around which 'rides' to hit, but haven't given much thought yet to which shows we want to be sure not to be miss, etc. Any opinions on your fav's would be greatly appreciated!!!

Our thoughts so far include some of the following 'top picks':

MK - fireworks; Phillharmagic; Alien Encounter (not sure about fear factor); Country Bear Jamboree

Epcot - USA Adventure Film; Canada Film; Illuminations; Honey I Shrunk the Audience

AK - Festival of Lion King or Tarzan Rocks; Tough to be a Bug

MGM - Fantasmic; Millionaire; (haven't really thought much more about Muppet 3D; Beauty and Beast; Magic of Disney Animation etc).

What are your top picks for "shows" and live entertainment??

Thanks!

MK - Alien Encounter is closed to make way for "Stitch's Great Escape" opening Fall 2004.

MK: Wishes fireworks are not to be missed in my book, also Philharmagic is terrific, I haven't seen the SpectroMagic Parade but hear it is great...Country Bears would be an "okay, if time" attraction to me, as would the Tiki Bird show

Epcot: Illuminations is incredible, we also enjoyed the fountain "show" in Future World...you know your children best, I enjoyed American Adventure but my boys (9 and 10) would have been bored silly, ditto any of the World Showcase films

AK: Festival of the Lion King, Flights of Wonder (bird show in Asia), I haven't seen Tarzan but will try to catch it next time...my family didn't care for the Bug show, but many others like it very much

MGM: Fantasmic, Beauty and the Beast, Muppets, Indiana Jones, and even though we missed Millionaire I would add it to the list just because I've heard so many great things about it, it's on my list for next time!

I see you included fireworks, also include parades on your must-see list. Both the daytime and nighttime parades in MK are great! Also, IMO I thought Alien Encounter was awful and your kids might be frightened. Some other people may disagree with me. In AK I would definitely pick Festival of the Lion King over Tarzan Rocks.Lion King is one of the best attractions in AK!! For MGM-you're right - do not miss Fantasmic-it's great! You didn't mention the sex of your children, not that it matters for most of the shows, but just from my experience my son did not enjoy Beauty and the Beast. He thought it was for girls. It might also depend on the child, of course. I would not miss Muppet 3-D. One of the best things about MGM! Have a great time!

Was there this past Feb. with my 8 and 11 year old.... here are their favs:

Epcot: TT, HISTA, Ice Station Coke (kinda of lame to me but they loved it). Universe of Energy, Living Statues (a must), mime in France, Off Kilter.

MK: Philharmagic was cool, walked thru Swiss Family Treehouse for the first time and they liked that alot, Castle stage show (short but cute), we liked the Tiki Room.

MGM: Millionare (did it twice), Indy Jones show (a must for boys!), still love Muppets.
Should have skipped Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast (saw the Broadway version, way better).

Didn't go to AK this trip.

Didn't see Wishes or Spectro (bad weather both nights!:( ) but have seen Spectro before and loved it.

Fantasmic a must and so Illuminations.

Have fun.

MK - PhilarMagic, Wishes, Parades

EPCOT - China and France Movies, Ellen's Energy Adventure (myy DD7 loves it), Illuminations

MGM - MuppetVision 3D, Belle Loive, Fantasmic

AK - Pocohontas, Flights of Wonder

Thoes are all shows on our "must see" lsit, as my daughter calls it
