What is the best shopping mall or outlet in the Orlando area?

If you want high end shopping Millenia Mall is on I-4 east one exit past the Florida turnpike, about 20 minutes from WDW if traffic is moving.

For outlet malls I would recommend the Premium Outlets and Prime Outlets. As for regular malls I would say the Florida Mall and Millenia Mall.

Prime outlets in Ellenton.

That outlet is in the Tampa area,no need to go that far as Orlando has excellent outlet malls with the Orlando Premium and the Prime outlets.For traditional malls Florida Mall is not very new but it's huge with a lot of stores.Mall at Millenia is pretty new,has more upscale stores and plenty or restaurants in the mall and surrounding area,there's even an IKEA next door.

It's also a 5 minute drive from Universal if you're going to be there (take the back way and not the highway!).

Why not go to both, they are not that far apart. I like both malls but like Millenia the best.

With normal traffic maybe a 15 min ride between the two.

It would be better to take a cab. I have seen large tour buses many times at Fla Mall, never at Millenia. I'm not sure where the tour buses are from but I'm sure somewhere at WDW.

The Florida Mall has M&M World right next to Macy's. We went there just for that and had a great time.
