I'm working on breaking in my first pair of Fit Flops for my July trip. I haven't been there in the summer since I was a kid and I now live in flip flops, so I just can't imagine wearing sneakers every day - my feet get too hot (although I did buy a very lightweight pair of Pumas to break in, just in case...). The only problem with flip flops is that my knees are far too damaged for flip flops that have no shock absorbency. Last time I tried MK in flip flops, my knees turned purple!! So for this trip I asked around, and many people recommended Fit Flops. They have a thick, cushiony sole and still keep my feet airy. So far I like them, my only complaint would maybe be that they run big and don't have half sizes, so my tiny feet are somewhere in between a 5 and a 6 and they don't really fit me as perfectly as I'd like.
