All you ladies out there know where I will be coming from with this one.. What shoes to wear at Disney?!

I am really not a trainer person and I also read somewhere that with the heat your feet sweat so much and also if you go on any water rides trainers hold the water for hours?

So I'm thinking maybe 'FitFlops'? They have a really good sole and mould to your feet, I love my sandals and flip flops and think they make your outfit but when at Disney I guess comfort comes first :-(

Any suggestions please throw my way! :-)

I love my FitFlops for long days in the parks, they are not that glamorous I know, but some of the styles are quite pretty now, and for comfort factor, they cannot be beaten in my view.

I swear by Merrell Siena sandals. They are specially designed for women's feet and style of walking, they give fantastic support and are pretty enough to wear with shorts, skirts, dresses or trousers. They are all I've worn whilst we've been here in Africa both whilst on safari and the beach resort :) :)

My Crocs flip flops are the best thing I ever bought! I've had three pairs in the last ten years and got my mum and DH hooked as well.

I don't like the old Crocs style but the flip flops they do are lovely (sat in my pink ones right now lol).

They're a very basic design but they massage your feet and I've never had blisters and it takes a LOT of walking for my feet to hurt in them.

Thank you to all your replies!

Do any of you take one or two pairs of different shoes to wear or just solely stick to one pair? :-)

Thanks again!
Beth x

I have a few pairs - usually a pair of trainers, pair of crocs clogs and pair of flat croc sandals for day wear. I wear the sandals most days but its nice to be able to wear different shoes sometimes.

I then also have a pair of croc wedges for evening wear. I have walked world showcase in them many times as they are comfortable but I wouldn't do all day in them.

I take 3 types of shoes

1. Fit Flops
2. Skechers Women's Go Walk Slip-On (my fave, I have them in 2 colors)
3. Mary Jane Crocs

Honestly, I think just having a couple different pair you are comfortable with is the best advice.

:goodvibes

I love my toms and havaianas. I have a really high arch in my feet and I couldn't even get fit flops on.

I took fit-flops and crocs when we went. I practically lived in my fit-flops - I still do!

Mary Jane crocs for me. I have them in 4 different colors and love them! They are great if you get your feet wet as the water just runs straight out and they dry so quickly

I only ever wear Hotter shoes. They have all types, walking shoes, trainers, sandals, courts, wedges, and all colours and sizes. They are all British made, leather uppers and soles and not cheap!

I always have at least two pairs for the parks - wear one day, rest them the next!

Dr Scholl trainers for me! Lived in mine at all the parks!

Dried really quickly & came in Polka dot! Perfect :)

Maybe not the most stylish but I have the trekking style sandals and find those comfortable plus they dry really quickly. I also have a pair of trainers and I take a nice pair of gladiator sandals for a bit more dressy.
Just make sure if you do buy anything new you well break them in before you go. What's comfy in the shop can rub painfully very quickly. Made that mistake :(

I have several new pairs of Animal flip flops lined up. I've worn them on our last 3 trips and they are so comfortable you don't realise you're wearing them. They are softly padded so no irritating rubbing between the toes and have a slightly built up middle section, perfect for my high arches.
So excited less then 4 weeks now then I'll be at our happy place wearing them :cheer2:

I used to love their flip flops I used to go armed with them in different colours x

I have a combination of fitflops and breathable full Air Nike 360.

I consider the attractions we may do - eg hanging legs = no fit flops!

To be honest, when it comes to fashion - NOBODY cares in Disney, I see socks & sandles - socks and crocs ... even socks and flip flops!! Why??? But you are not walking around in your local town centre and no one is judging - anything goes!

Just wear what is comfortable for you and suits your plans!
