Best September Deluxe Room rate

Hi all! What's the best room only rate you think I could expect in September? We are going to stay at Shades of Green either the second or third week of September and we were thinking about doing one night at a deluxe either at the beginning or end of our trip just for fun. I called and the best rates ranged from $350-475, which just seemed like a lot, even using the military salute rate. I'm not sure if I'm out of touch with prices or I just don't know where to look.

With the back to school discount, you can get the yacht club or wilderness lodge for one night, I put in Sept 16, for $295. The most expensive I saw was the Polynesian for $530. Go on the disney website and you can run some number base on when you want to stay.

Look for a travel agent. I've never thought to use one ever, and saw some old posts on this board about travel agents. It made me curious on how much people were saving and I requested a quote and it was magical.I was able to book a deluxe for just under $250 a night. My friend Shelly hooked me up. I was able to upgrade to a deluxe for not much more than i was paying for a moderate. I told another friend going and his family changed their reservations and got a great deal as well. i got the WL for $202 a night. that is the back to school room only code. it's a standard view, and those get snatched up quick. the last 3 nights we're moving to the yacht club for $267. this is end of aug-sept 6. sept is 1 of the cheapest times to go!
