We are four seniors staying at Vistana in January. Two of us are mobility impaired. Which section would you recommend? We probably are renting a car but would also like to walk some at the resort. Prefer a little quiet away from pools but near ponds, etc. Thanks.
Hello,
Considering you have mobility issues and prefer a quieter area, I'd recommend the Lakes section at Vistana. This is the second newest section. There is a zero depth entry pool. Most rooms overlook a pond, though one building is pool front (slated for Friday check-in).
The Cascades also has a zero depth pool, but is in a slightly more bustling area of the resort. The Cascades is the newest section. The Lakes villas are slightly larger than the Cascades though. You would most likely need a car to get to the General Store on Vistana property from the Lakes because of where this section is located.
Both the Lakes and Cascades have elevators.
I suggest filling out the online request form (you might want to add that this is a "medical" request) : https://www.svosecure.com/starwoodvo/diamond.jsp?resortID=5
Also make your requests known with whoever you made your reservations with.
