:wave2: We are four seniors staying at Vistana in January. Two of us are mobility impaired. Which section would you recommend? We probably are renting a car but would also like to walk some at the resort. Prefer a little quiet away from pools but near ponds, etc. Thanks.

Hello,
Considering you have mobility issues and prefer a quieter area, I'd recommend the Lakes section at Vistana. This is the second newest section. There is a zero depth entry pool. Most rooms overlook a pond, though one building is pool front (slated for Friday check-in).
The Cascades also has a zero depth pool, but is in a slightly more bustling area of the resort. The Cascades is the newest section. The Lakes villas are slightly larger than the Cascades though. You would most likely need a car to get to the General Store on Vistana property from the Lakes because of where this section is located.
Both the Lakes and Cascades have elevators.
I suggest filling out the online request form (you might want to add that this is a "medical" request) : https://www.svosecure.com/starwoodvo/diamond.jsp?resortID=5
Also make your requests known with whoever you made your reservations with.

My research shows Lakes to be the best for us. Thanks for your info and recommendations. We are looking forward to our trip in January! Elaine
