Ok, a few questions:

1. What is the best seating/view for 'Celebrate: A Street Party'?
2. Is it worth seeing?
3. How long does it last?
4. When should we start lining up for it?

Thank you!

1. There are three spots to see CASP in a good spot: Small World Promenade, Central Plaza (around the hub on Tomorrowland side), and MS USA right next to the stores. I would say the best spot to see CASP is right by the Emporium store in my opinion.

2. It's not a very exciting parade like CaDCT Parade at WDW MK. Just once is enough to watch, but it is not a very exciting parade to watch in my opinion. I'm waiting for next years parade when DL gets Mickey’s Soundsational Parade.

3. I would say the parade time for each location is around 15 min for each stop at the three locations.

4. You can get a front curb side right around 30 min to 1 hour until the parade starts.

Personally I think CELEBRATE is great! We watch it every time we are there as long as my Nephew is in it. Yep, that's right I'm biased but I still enjoy the show. There are a lot of characters in it. Some you rarely see like Peter Pan and Wendy, the Chipmunks girlfriend, etc. And the characters really get into the dances.

Also, if you have kids, they will really enjoy being able to participate in the show. They can go out into the street during the "Do you wanna dance" number as well as the Conga. You can go out into the street as well, to dance or take pictures.

We watch from across from Small World. It's a great spot for us since my Nephew is towards the end. On Tuesday we watched both shows (for the first time) and we were able to get our spot by IASW about 10 mins. before (3:30) and we saw the 6:30 one on Main Street, in front of The Emporium. We ducked under the rope about 10 min. before the parade and DD and her friend were able to be up front once everyone stood up.

Thank you for your help - it does sound like it would be our families cup of tea. We like to get into the groove.party:

Do you also have any opinions about the Pixar Parade in DCA?

At WDW the parade just goes up Main Street, enters the hub and stops. Then everyone can dance with the characters. I was able to move around taking pics of all the floats and characters. From your descriptions it sounds like there are 3 stops. Where would you recommend for taking photos? Since we will be there 5 days, I might try all 3 locations?

Yes it does stop at 3 locations. Shortly before the first parade starts CMs will mark (on the street) with pieces of day-glo tape where the floats will stop. You can also ask any CM along the parade route where the parade will be.

If you want to take pictures in the street while the parade is performing (during the 2 join in dance numbers) I don't think you need to do all 3 stops but you will probably want to be in different locations along one of the stops.

When we were there on Tuesday we stood in front of The Emporium, near the end of the parade, close to Towne Square. If you want to take pictures of the parade as it comes out this would be a good location for the 2nd parade (going up MS). Also being across for IASW works for this too. Here are a few more pictures taken as the parade first was coming out , 3:30. I like the background by IASW.

You notice that you don't see any princesses in this parade but you do see many of the other characters.;)

As for the Pixar Play Parade-I think it's cute too. As you can imagine there are a lot of Pixar characters in it. We've watched it a couple times (it was really nice being able to watch from Burrbank Ice cream in the Sunshine Plaza, before they rerouted it.)

Thanks for the info Disneydaz. Your photos are terrific. It is totally different parade. The lead float has party hats. The 4 character floats are wrapped packages. One character rides on top and the rest around the package. Looking forward to seeing this one.
