I'm just beginning to plan, so I'm sure this will be the first in a bazillion questions:

I'm in love with all the pictures I've seen of Canada Terrace ceremonies. I especially love the ones with the little cottage and all the flowers.

Does anyone know if it's that pretty all year? Or is that only during the Flower & Garden festival? I'd love to see pictures of the pavilion and its gardens from different times of the year if anyone has them.

Thanks in advance!

It should be noted that ceremonies don't actually take place in the garden. If they did, we might have thrown over Morocco for Canada! :teeth:

This is the Canada Terrace ceremony site:

The garden is beautiful year round, not just during Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival. :thumbsup2

Here are some shots from late September:

And here it is in February, in the rain (still pretty!)...

Thanks Carrie! Somehow, I just knew you would have all the answers.

I knew you couldn't have the ceremony in the garden, which is fine because I wouldn't be able to decide between the garden and the terrace with the waterfall if that were the case.

But I think I read somewhere (maybe Carly's blog) that you can take pictures throughout the Canada pavilion. So I wanted to be there when the gardens looked their best.

P.S. At the risk of sounding like a crazy person, I think I'm a Lurkyloo superfan. I have the PassPorter book and am working my way through all your trip reports and podcasts. My fiancé says he was shocked when he found out that I don't actually know you. Apparently, every time I say "Well, Carrie says . . ." he thought I was talking about a friend or a co-worker. Anyway, I think you're God's gift to Disney and you make me smile nearly every day.

Okay, enough of the creepy, stalker gushing. I just had to get it out of my system. Thanks for the quick response.

Well thanks to the Magic of the Internets (tm) we DO know each other! :rotfl: We'll just have to make it official over a Mickey Bar some day. :thumbsup2

I believe that in "Canada" they try to follow the seasons of real Canada, so it would probably be the most colourful between spring and early fall. We got married in Canada during F&G (in April) and it was so colourful! When we went back in December, it was quite a bit different, but still beautiful!

I can post some pictures later tonight, or you can look through my TR (in link below) if you are interested to see that gardens during April :goodvibes

Thank you both for responding. Boardwalk Bride, your wedding was beautiful. It's actually the one that inspired me to get married there.

BTW, do either of you know how much the brown folding chairs in Carrie's first picture cost (including set-up/delivery fees)? They work so well in that space.

Thank you so much :goodvibes

The chairs are $5.50 each, and a $200 delivery fee. We were really happy we choose to go this route, and were glad we "sacrificed" some other decorations to fit the chairs into our budget.
