Best Seafood?

Cape May was not good at all. At all - cold, small crab legs and the rest of the food was seriously poor. Golden Corral is a good comparison. I had a good crab cake at The Wave and we've enjoyed a few seafood dishes from Crew's Cup Lounge, which uses the same kitchen as Captain's Grille. The salmon at Chefs de France is good. Narcoossee's has some good seafood but way overpriced out of pocket. I've read good things about Boathouse and I'd say that's probably the best option for seafood, but it is a signature on the dining plan.

Thank you so much everyone for your replies! We appreciate the input. Tokyo Dining is one of our favorite spots, but I didn't think about the options there. We also may give Captain's Grill a try, but it may be a little out of the way for us. Again, thank you everyone for helping us out.

I'm going to go against the grain here and say that I was not impressed at all with Cape May. To me it is nothing more than a "Golden Corral" quality restaurant that offers average crab legs that can be found in so many Chinese buffets here at home. It is your typical buffet food made in massive amounts at a time to be scooped up at serving stations sitting on heated tables. I'll admit, I am not a buffet fan. I much more prefer my meals to be prepared upon ordering and not in portions serving 100 people at a time. My favorites when it comes to seafood is Narcoossee's and Flying Fish and will be trying Blue Zoo this June, but these are all signatures. For 1TS I do like Coral Reef better but with that said, Captains Grille has a few really nice seafood dishes as well at the Yacht Club and I think their crab legs blow Cape May's away.

We are not fans of Cape May for dinner either. We love it for breakfast but dinner is lackluster at best and we've tried it multiple times. We really enjoyed The Boathouse and Bluezoo in March and have always enjoyed Flying Fish. Coral Reef isn't bad, we've never had a bad meal there and our kids love the tanks but there are so many more appealing restaurants that we tend to skip it for the most part now.

I wanted to love Coral Reef and just didn't. It was disappointing and even the ambiance failed us because we were seated against the back wall and half our party was too short to see the fish tank well at all. We won't do that one again.

Oh- Captain's Grille was nice!

I order a lot of seafood at Disney, and I love Narcoossee's! Also, The Wave always has a seafood special that is wonderful.

My recommendation would be to splurge on 2 credits and try Narcoossees. The seafood was great as was the ambiance!

I have not tried it, but I've read good things about Captain's Grille. I would check out that menu too.
