Best seafood?

Just because I'm curious and love seafood ... what would you vote for as the best seafood dishes at the parks, CityWalk, or hotels?

(Note: I'm not adverse to sushi, but I'm a novice, and the rest of the family won't have anything to do with it!)

We are picking one restaurant each we want to try; my choice may hang on this!

I like Bubba Gumps. Haven't tried them all though.

Definitely try out Cowfish in Citywalk then. They have excellent burgers and sushi, and you can even gets meals with a little of both. They even have "sushi" that might appeal to people that usually won't go for it.

I've had their taste explosion roll. Its actually ground beef instead of any kind of fish, bacon, and spicy mayo topped with a little cheese in sushi form. I adore it. I'll look for a picture if I can find one.

You could also try Lombards seafood grill in park.

The lobster at The Palm (Hard Rock Hotel) is amazing but quite expensive!

Seafood is the one area I think is seriously lacking at Universal. Well, good seafood.

Yes, The Palm lobster was lovely, we really enjoyed that. Decent menu there too.

Cowfish is a fantastic choice for novice sushi eater........they have a good selection and nothing too dramatic. The burgers are lovely so it's a good choice for a whole family.

Sushi at RPR whether it's Orchids or Tchoup Chop are the nicest of all of them. But not a great general seafood selection.

Bubba Gumps at Citywalk is dreadful. Have tried it twice and I amazed they call themselves a seafood place. We won't go back. Crab legs with no crab inside, greasy fish when it's supposed to be steamed........I could go on, but again......just our opinion. Some seem to enjoy it.

For really good fresh seafood we go offsite. Always.

But, would go with Cowfish for what you're looking for within Universal.

Personally, while I'm amenable to sushi, I'd prefer something else. Love shrimp, crab, lobster, most fish.

To be fair my husband enjoyed the shrimp skewer that came with his meal, apart from the fact it was colder than it should be. But that was it.

The Palm did have some lovely seafood.......I had stuffed flounder once there......stuffed with crab and something else.......beautiful.
