My husband loves seafood and thinking of new places to take him for our December trip. No dinning plan and cost is not a factor on deciding. Please provide your experience and tell me why you recommend a particular restaurant. Thank you

The grilled salmon and the seared ahi tuna steaks were very good at Brown Derby. Very nice presentation with a lot of accompaniments...there was marscapone polenta with the salmon. BD is a nice restaurant with very good service.

Flying Fish is the best seafood restaurant on WDW property, hands down. And its not close.

Excellent seafood at WDW is a rare thing, and nearly impossible to find.

Head to BlueZoo however, at least you may find some fresh fish there...

Otherwise, head off property to a decent restaurant. For a peninsula, Florida has pretty dicey seafood. :confused3

Another vote for Fulton's--my DDs love going there!!
We also loved the scallop appetizer at Ragland Road.

My vote is for Cape May Cafe. We were there in June, and they had HUGE crab legs, fish of the day, different shell fish, and lots of other choices. I was with my Dad - a VERY pick seafood eater - and he loved it. So much, in fact, that we are going back in October.

Enjoy!

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. We are staying at The Swan so we are definetly trying Bluezoo and Fulton's Crab House. I would love to read more comments on Flying Fish (we went there 5 years ago but we are going to try to fit it in our schedule). We usually go to Brown Derby b/c my husband likes the salmon dish there.
Thank you again:)

The mahi mahi and creamy lobster soup I got at Coral Reef in Epcot was to DIE for! I'd definitely recommend it. :)

Absolutely the best deal for seafood in the Orlando is Boston Lobster Feast...a mega seafood buffet far better than anything at The Rat.

They have 3 locations- FL Mall, I-Drive and on Rt 192.

Go to their web site: www.bostonlobsterfeast.com and sign up for their email coupons...as well as the seafood offerings.

They have, since 12/08, been offering via special "Recession Buster Pricing" coupon emails to the email club members at only their original FL Mall location - $24.95 vs $34.95 (4pm-6pm) and $39.95 (after 6pm).

I've been going to BLF for years and always enjoy it.

;) We always do Fulton's, sometimes twice while there. We always get the Fried Calamari, Alaskan Crab Claws (not legs). They are the size of a small fists and they give you around 6 with potatoes. My DH is 5'7 and very pooh sized as well as his Brother who is 6'1 at 290. Anywho this meal alsways fills them up and BIL adds a lobster usually. We live on the Gulf Coast in MS and are used to eating good seafood. Fulton's is awesome. We love the crab cakes at Brown Derby. My Mother got a wonderful Blackened Catfish and grits type dish at Coral Reef that she still talks about.....of course that is after she describes the best crab ever at Fulton's. Have a great time eating your way around the World.:thumbsup2

Thanks ToddyLu, for sharing your Fulton experience. Ican't wait to try the food there and then do some shopping to walk off the food we ate and have dessert at Ghirardeli.

Flying Fish and Fultons, just incredible food!

Blue Zoo is great; the food was perfectly prepared and the service was a cut above. We were very happy with our meal there and will definitely return.
