Best Seafood Place (on DDP)

At DTD both Earl Of Sandwich & Wolfgang Puck Express are great CS choices.

I like your revised list. We tried Flying Fish this time & it is awesome!!

I revised our ADRs to:

NO ADR (arrival night)

Saving the 1st night TS for the 2 we'll need for FF. We are arriving around Noon-1pm and coming from WI, thought this was a good option in case we have travel issues, that way we have no reservation to worry about cancelling. Looking for first night CS options - thought of taking the boat (we are staying at POFQ) and heading to DD. Ideas on CS places to eat?

Also, what is the the best options for transportation to/from our dinner ADRs from our resort? Keeping in mind we will likely be at the parks in the morning and coming back to our resort in the afternoon for some R&R.

Thanks (again)! :goodvibes

We've stayed at POFQ and their food court was pretty good. If you go to Downtown Disney... Wolfgang Pucks is an excellent choice.

As far as transportation... if you're eating in a park - you should probably just take a bus back to the park. The reservations at the resorts - take the boat to Downtown Disney and get a resort bus from there. Just give yourself plenty of time for travel. If you get to the resort early - just go exploring and enjoy! Have fun! :yay:

I think that Disney recommends that you plan on one and a half hours in travel time from one escort to another.

I wasn't impressed with either Coral Reef or Cape May. Coral Reef was bland and uninspired. Cape May was slightly better, but I don't love seafood served buffet style. My DH, though, really liked Cape May. We will try Flying Fish next time.

We had dinner at Le Bistro on the 30th, & the scallops were the 2nd best entree I've ever had at WDW. The best was a salmon dish at HBD, but that dish has changed. :( Actually, our entire meal at LB was much better than any meal we've eaten at Flying Fish, & we've been there several times. FF is good, but I don't think it's as great as many seem to. My DH's birthday was the 30th, & I'll be having my birthday dinner at LB also. It is now on DDP. I'm hoping it doesn't decline, due to that. That said, FF is definitely more kid friendly. With a 5 yr. old that's definitely something to consider.
