Looking for the best seafood - basically I onlly like:

1. Fried Shrimp
2. Crab Cakes
3. Lobster in Linguine in a cream sauce
4. Lobster Bisque Soup

and THAT'S IT! Can anyone recommend a place that's not over $20. an entree in downtown disney? or even i-drive (going there once or twice for universal)
:wave2:

Actually, all the items you listed are available at Red Lobster if I'm not mistaken. There is one right outside the WDW gates in a shopping area across the street. There are several retail stores and I believe a few other restaurants as well.

Personally, I only go to Red Lobster for the Cheddar Bay Biscuits, but some of the entrees are pretty decent too.

Fulton's is great, but you probably won't get anything but a bowl of Bisque for $20 there...

Red Lobster! I love that place but it's all over the place... I want to try something "away from home"

what about Fultons vs Capn Jacks???
:hyper:

Go to allearsnet.com and see the menus. No I would not go to
Red Lobster on vacation!!!
Also Capt Jacks sounds terrible from people have been saying on here and I would not risk it.
We are going to Cape May Cafe but that is a clam bake so it doesn't sound like what you really want.
I would look on the menus and then come back here and ask people what they think about the ones you pick out. good luck

Do you like fried clams? Rainforest Cafe has fried clam strips and french fries as one of their appetizers and we have had it locally at our Rainforest Cafe and it was really good. Can't remember the price, but check out www.rainforestcafe.com

Fishbones is off property but has great seafoood! I think it is on International Drive!

I went to Landry's and thought the seafood was quite good. They have everything seafood on the menu. Check out the post I have here on restaurants off Disney property.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Landry's and Joe's Crabshack (Rainforest Cafe and many others too) are owned by the same parent company. I haven't eaten at the Landry's or Joe's Crab Shack around Disney World, but have elsewhere and they would have the items you mentioned on the menu that should be in the price range you would like. If you go to www.joescrabshack.com you will get a link to both places, their locations, (more than one around WDW) and their menu.

For the best fried shrimp and lobster bisque in Orlando you need to go to Bostons fish house, but its not near disney. There is one in Winter Park and one on South Orange avenue. That said, near Disney I would recommend:

Fried Shrimp - Red lobster ( The fried shrimp is really good.)

Crab cakes - The Crab house (off of Palm Parkway in LBV near disney). Hands down, they are the best in Orlando.

Lobster in linguine - Never had it but best guess would be Landry's

Lobster Bisque - Believe it or not Joe's crab shak has really good lobster bisque. (Best I have ever had is at Boston's. I drive an hour to get their bisque and fried clams.)

Have never tried Fulton's because the prices are ridiculous. Cap'n Jacks gets consistently horrible reviews.

Enjoy
