Sadly , I can't say we've been able to come across many. I thought this was odd, but apparently Orlando isn't known for seafood buffets. There are plenty of restaurants that have good seafood dishes...they just won't be buffets. Sorry.
But, some buffets may have some seafood on it though. I keep a list of *restaurants to try* and even though it's not rated high on the boards here, we had a good experience when we went. It was Boston Lobster Feast (sign up for their $5 off coupon before going). The reviews here aren't good but there are a couple, which also state it's important WHEN you go here. And you want to pick a peak hour so you know the food moves & is replenished regularly. That's the time-frame we chose to go (early evening/beginning of the dinner hour...we had about a 20-30 min. wait) and we had a good experience.
The lobster-tails (cheap quality) were terrible but the crablegs, fillet mignon, terriyaki london broil and shrimp salad were excellent (some of what I remember). Though I don't eat it, my husband and my friends said the clam chowder was EXCELLENT. Also, you have to tell your server when you want a fillet because they'd cook them to order (only took a couple minutes).
I CAN see how this place would be HORRIBLE if you went during the slow times though. But, if you give it a chance, and go during a peak time, you may have a good experience too. Everyone in my party (and some don't even eat seafood) really enjoyed the meal. We didn't take the children because of its cost and take a sweater/jacket because it's FREEZING in there. And don't forget to sign up for the coupon because it's expensive (around $37 pp + drinks).
I also have Crabby Joe's (which is located in The Clarion Hotel-Maingate on 192W) on my list. We almost went here, but had a change in plans (we will try next time). They have an all you can eat dinner buffet (begins @ 4 p.m. I think) with a lot of seafood items http://www.crabbyjoe.com/buffetmenu.php . They also have a 10% discount coupon you can print out too http://www.crabbyjoe.com/online.php
Good Morning, here is a previous thread on the same topic.
Prices may be up a little. As I said in the post, we really enjoy Crabby Joes in the Clarion on Hwy 192 between Old Lake Wilson Road (County road 545) and Formosa Garden's Blvd. Not a lot of fancy food but great crab legs. NO lobster, but all you can eat lobster places do not carry a very good rep.
