For pastas, there is a pasta and pizza place in Paradise Pier in DCA. It's on the very far side of the Pier. Go into the building, not the counter service place. Their 5-cheese Ravoli is to die for. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Seafood-wise, I haven't tried much other than the clam chowder, which had a bit of a "bite" (jalapeno maybe?) to it.
I take that back. I did an amazing surf-n-turf at Blue Bayou, too. But I can't remember what the actual meats were. LOL, we ate a LOT of surf-n-turf on our honeymoon when we were there, at several different places!
