Best salads at WDW?

Sci-Fi Dine In has one of my favorite salads on property! One of my fave Disney meals. They change up the salad every couple months. Last month was a Mexican style salad with grilled salmon (or grilled chicken). It was absolutely delicious and a huge portion size!

I have plenty of buffet and other indulgent ADRs made, but I can only handle eating one heavy meal a day. Now I need to plan out some places to go where my kids can eat typical kid fare (chicken nuggets, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, etc), but DH and I can grab a mixed greens salad with a grilled meat on top. Bonus points if I can also grab a glass of wine. LOL

I'm open for quick service or table service ideas. Thanks!

I actually had two really great salads, and they were both at QS restaurants in DHS.

I had the Mediterranean Salad at the ABC commissary and the Antipasto Salad at PizzaRizzo. They were both huge, fresh and had lots of yummy toppings.

The "chain" restaurants continue to be the only places we like for salad at disney. We always go to Rainforest Cafe towards the end of the trip for an amazing salad, after we are tired of eating tons of carbs or unhealthy food for days. They have a fantastic one with grilled chicken and some kind of cranberries and pecans. Same thing with T-Rex, Planet Hollywood, etc. AWESOME salads. And lots of salad choices. We have thought all other salads within Disney have ranged from not good, to downright gross.. Liberty tree tavern being the worst... Lettuce has always been slimy bagged lettuce that tastes like its been sitting in dressing for hours.

Great thread!

I enjoyed the salad from Roaring Forks at WL. I think it was called the Wilderness Salad. Greens, apples, cheese, nuts, chicken, and a good dressing! It was HUGE too.
This looks wonderful, but I don't see it on their current menu. The only salads they now list are "grab and go", and they don't have a description of them on the website at this time.

View attachment 269937 I had a wonderful salad at Captain's Grill as a starter and it was more than enough for two. It had beets, strawberries, goat cheese, and pecans on mixed greens.
I was a fan of this salad and of Captain's Grille in general, and sad that it's closing on Sept. 30 and being replaced by a different restaurant.

My favorite two are the
Coronation Salad - Crisp Salad with an Apple-Madras Yogurt Dressing @ Rose & Crown
AND
Salade de chèvre chaud (Baked Goat Cheese Salad) - with walnuts, fresh grapes, tomatoes, endives and mixed salad @ Chefs de France
