Best S. Cal Family Beach Hotel / Condo Rental

Looking for a great family beach hotel or rental condo somewhere North of San Diego. We will have 2 adults and 3 kids. Anyone have any suggestions?

We were considering the La Jolla Shores hotel, but recent reviews say it has gone downhill and is a bit run down.

We stayed in Carlsbad last year at the West Inn and loved it, but we are wanting somewhere right on the beach, if possible.

This place looked like a decent place to stay on the beach and was pretty reasonable price wise.
