We will be coming from All-Star Movies for a 4:30 pm dinner reservation at Rose & Crown. I am contemplating the best plan to get there. I'm thinking taking a cab to Beach Club then walking to international gateway, how does that sound? Any idea how long that would take? I'm trying to figure out the quickest and minimize the walking. If anyone has any ideas and approx. travel time that would help, thanks.

Your plan definitely has the shortest walking distance but obviously you have to pay the cab. Mears estimator says about $11 plus tip and they may charge an additional fee for each passenger beyond 1. It's probably a 10 minute drive and about another 10 minute walk once you get to beach club.

I'm not sure if you are trying to minimize walking for a member of your party but the Disney buses will take you to the park main entrance for free (I'm sure you already knew that). They leave from resorts about every 15 minutes. Its a little bit farther of a walk but then you don't have to deal with a cab and you get to take in the scenery and walk right through future world. R&C is only the second country in when you enter the world showcase from the West side.

I hope this helps! :)

Yes I did know most of the info ;) but thank you for reiterating it for others reading this who may not know. Yes I have a group of 8 individuals and one member of our party is in a wheelchair, cost isn't that big of an option, just trying to minimize time on the bus and hiking through the park, some times relying on Disney transportation you have to figure in hefty travel time and we want to leave our resort as late as possible. That day is our arrival day and our flight in that morning is at 6am so we be getting to the airport at 4am, we will most be napping and getting as much rest as possible when we arrive. :faint:

So for a 4:30 ADR what time would you schedule a cab? 3:30 or 3:45ish?

For 8 people, you'll need 2 cabs. There's no need to schedule on in advance, just have bell services call one up for you as you're leaving (3:45 would give you plenty of time.)
