Best route to avoid Daytona traffic?

We went to wdw a couple years ago on Pres. Day week and hit Daytona traffic What a nightmare.

We're doing it again - is there anyway to avoid it? I don't mind driving, but I hate sitting in traffic!

We'll be coming down 95, usually to I4. Is there another route I can pick up and where?

I am not sure if you mean traffic on I-95 or I-4. Your one of two options is to stay on I-95 to the toll road to WDW.
If you are arriving during a week day, you have to avoid I-4 West bound from 6:30 to 8:30 AM.
Another option you have is to take I-4 to the 417 toll exit. It is longer in distance, but much faster and you will pay around 4 to 5 dollars in tolls, but it takes you right to WDW. You are about 45 minutes from WDW at this point.

Take I-4 and when you see the Seminole Town Centre Mall on your left, get in the far right lane to the 417 exit and follow the Orlando Airport signs. When you are down by MCO, the signs will direct you to WDW.

If you are arriving on a weekend or midday, then I-4 should not be a problem.
