Best Route from POP to Cape May Cafe

We are a group of 8 staying at Pop. We have 8:00 am reservations at Cape May Café. What is the best way to get there? We won't have a car. I'm a bit concerned about buses being available that early. Help please!

The best overall way is a cab. With 8 of you, you might have to take two cabs, since most van cabs can only handle 7. It's not actually very far, so I would guess it will be $10 or a bit more for each cab. Just go to the bell services or concierge desk and ask them for a cab for 8 to Beach Club. They'll either find you a van that seats 8 or call you two regular car-sized cabs. You could be at the front at 7:30 asking for a cab and still make your ADR with time to spare, unless cab service at the Value resorts is much different from other WDW resorts. If you're worried, ask at the front desk the night before. My guess is they'll tell you what I just told you.

If you prefer the bus, take it to DHS and then either walk (15-20 minutes), take a boat (if it's running that early, 15-20 minutes plus waiting time) or take a bus to Beach Club. But allow plenty of time. Taking the first bus at 6:30 would not be crazy just in case, though a 7:00 bus would probably get you there in plenty of time.

You should be able to get a van cab...that would take most of you, maybe all of you, in the one cab. It's a very short ride from Pop to YC/BC.
If you choose to take the bus? Get on a bus to DHS by 6:45...they do tend to run a bit less frequently in the early hours, so if you just miss a bus, you may find yourself waiting for 25 mins for the next one. When you get to DHS, if it's an EMH morning, the boat will be running, so you can take that. If it isn't an EMH morning, you will have to walk. The walkway is easy to find...walk towards the canal when you get off the bus. Keep the parking lot on your right, the canal on your left. Walk about a minute or so, and you'll come to a downward slope to the left, heading closer to the canal. There should be signage saying 'walkway to Boardwalk'. take the sidewalk and just walk...takes about 20 mins. When you get to the end (all the way past the back side of BW), go to the left and up the incline. At the bridge, take a right and walk down to YC/BC.

I would take a cab though...that way you can leave Pop around 7:30!!

Thanks for the responses. I hadn't thought of a cab. Sounds much more reasonable that catching a bus at 6:30/6:45.
