I personally hate being late and would take a cab in this situation. You're going to have to get up pretty darn early to take the normal route, which is the bus to MK, then monorail over to Poly. I'd say be at the Pop bus stop at 6:00. That also depends on what time MK opens that day as to what time the buses start running. They say 60-90 minutes before park opening, but there's no telling how often at that point.

A. I wouldn't take that reservation because we would never make it.
B. If I did.... cab.

Personally, I wouldn't make that reservation. Way too much hassle for breakfast! The only way to get there would be bus to MK, then monorail over. It takes forever! If you have a car, you could always drive over to the Poly yourself.

30 minutes on the bus to magic kingdom then hike to the monorail in 5 minutes and wait probobly 5 minutes then ride to poly which will take around 10 minutes. Yeah you are looking at 50 minutes travel time to be there on time

The quickest and best transportation to any resort (if you aren't staying at a monorail resort) will almost always be a taxi. Especially early in the morning.

We often have breakfast or tour reservations early; the least stressful and most reliable timewise is definitely a cab. Although I do have a great story about that ... we were going from POP to Kona Cafe at Poly for an early breakfast ressie; had planned to take the bus to MK & then monorail; got to the bus stop very early and ended up being the only ones on the bus. The driver asked where we were going & when we explained, he said he could take us directly to the Poly! Just a little Disney magic!

I would be at the POP bus stop at 6:30 and just take the bus. The MK bus starts running at 6:30. You can take the bus to MK and take the monorail. We had an early ADR at CMs a couple of years ago. We caught the early bus and the driver asked us where we were headed. He dropped us off directly at Contemporary. There were two more families on the bus and he was going to drop them off at the Poly. I woulnd't count on that happening but it could. But I did just want to let you know that the busses do run that early.

This has not been our experience.

OP,
Here is another vote for cab. We do it for all our resort breakfasts and it means that we can sleep in a few extra minutes. You leave POP at 7 AM and you'll be great.

This happened to us too, sort of. We got the bus from pop to mk. We were walking around looking for the bus stop for poly and a cast member asked if she could help, we said we needed to get to poly for an ADR and she called over a bus driver who go a bus especially for us and drove us there straight away. We were the only ones on the bus, it had not in service or something like that on it. It was wonderful!

The cab, as others said, is the fastest and least stressful way but if you don't want to pay for it the MK breakfast buses start running at 6:30 a.m.
