Best Route from MCO to WDW???

What do you think the best route is from the airport to the disney hotels (BWV)? The rental car companies will always give you a map, but sometimes I think they tell you to take the road with the most tolls!

Any suggestions?

I prefer taking the south exit onto 417 (the Central FL Greenway) and following that to exit 6 for Route 536/World Center Drive.

Less traffic and IMHO more direct.

Actually, the road with the most tolls is the best way to Disney!

Basically, there are two main routes from the airport to WDW; the BeeLine to I-4 and the Greenway (417). The BeeLine to I-4 will cost you $1.25 in tolls, while the Greenway will cost you $2. I prefer to take the Greenway because there is less traffic. Both will take about the same amount of time - 30 minutes.

I always take 417, very little traffic.

I prefer the Greenway, 417, because it has very little traffic, and if you take the exit to Osceola Parkway, you end up in the heart of WDW property. If you're staying at an Epcot or AK area resort. this is the easiest and quickest route.

We also take 417. Follow the RED (South) exit signs out of the airport. I have been caught in dreadful traffic jams on I-4 and never use the Beeline route anymore.

Don't like the most tolls?

North airport exit, left at first light, (then curve left) just over a mile to next light, take two quick lefts gets you onto Beach Line (528; fka Bee Line). Pay one 75 cent toll. At end take I-4 west (southwest). Takes you right to Disney, Epcot, Osceola Parkway, etc. If you are not traveling late afternoon or early evening it is really not bad.

Returning to airport follow signs carefully to get on I-4 East. Then get onto 528. Get off 528 at its exit 9 (Tradeport). Left, cross under, (top off at gas station right there, then) get into middle lane (north; away from 528), required right onto McCoy, next light is Semoran Blvd and airport entrance.
