Can I ask for a specific room if I have already booked through a travel agent??

You can definitely ask for good rooms. They are typically any room in the Martinique or Trinindad North. However, they cost $15 extra a night to guarantee them. Otherwise it is just a request that may or may not be able to be met.

You would need to have your travel agent contact central reservations with your request. If you don't want to pay extra for a preferred location many prefer Jamaica or Aruba.

If you are specific in a room number you may not get your request. You can request a village and they could give you that.

We stayed in Jamaica and preferred that over Martinique and Trinidad North. Those are the "preferred locations" but we noticed they are too close for us to main area of CBR. Jamaica was a quick walk over the bridge which was great-we were close to the smaller Jamaica and the themed pools, close to food court and shopping but still far enough away to have some privacy and not be on top of a steel drum band. Highly recommend Jamaica section. :)

Ditto. We were in Jamaica also during December 2000. We had the quiet pool to ourselves almost everday. The food court was a nice walk just over the bridge but you didn't have the hustle and bustle of the main area. You should enjoy it wherever you stay. :wave2:

Your TA should note a request on your Reservation and 4 days before you arrive you should call and tell them your request again. Go on allearsnet.com and check out a map to decide the best room.
