I will be staying at CSR, which are the best rooms?

All the rooms are essentially the same. It's the buildings that make a difference. The casitas tend to be closest to the main building (not all of them but a lot of them), but also the convention people tend to be assigned these rooms as well.

I'd recommend finding a map of the resort before you go (try www.wdwig.com) and become familiar with the layout of the resort. Then make your request from there.

I suggest doing a search on CSR. You will find lots of great opinions about rooms and locations at CSR.

I just have one more question, for room request, i figure i would like to be closer to the pool. how many days before my arrival do i have to put in a request. Or can i call know and request a certain area?

Call CRO and have it put in your reservation. Then you don't have to call or fax. Just remember it is just a request and you will have a magical vacation.

I would call and have it noted on your reservation. It is not guaranteed but they will accomodate as long as it is available. We have always had good luck by doing this. By the way, dawn77, let me know how you like CSR. We booked this resort for our trip in Sept.
I had the CM note building 9b on our ressie as this one seems to be a popular choice.
