Best room at POP ?

So true...luck of the draw on who you get as neighbours. Thanks so much for the tip...am noting non-connecting and top floor.
Instead of non-connecting, consider "end room." My concern is that they will focus on the commonly requested connecting and miss the 'non' - and put you in the wrong kind of room.

Thank you so much. Will use the wording "end room" instead.
Just have to determine priority of what to request . Think you can only request 3 items? So far in my list is
  • building 3 (50s)
  • building 6 (70s)
  • end room
  • top floor
  • lake view
Too many items right? What is good priority...or best 3 if that's our best shot?

Am guessing a pool view in the other two areas would be noisier? We booked basic standard anyways.
That would be annoying with the gondola construction going on, but hopefully all done and ready soon.

The Hippy Dippy Pool is very loud. It’s almost always full, and they do games with music and speakers throughout the day. I would never want a room over there. But I don’t think the bowling pin pool gets they loud.

Good to know. Thanks. Don't care about daytime noise but evening when we're ready for bed. (Kids are teen and pre-teen though so not talking early bedtime).
So building 3 or 6 should be safe then.

PS - That pool name Hippy Dippy makes me laugh everytime I hear it.

Too many. Eliminate the building numbers. "Lake view" will put you in 3, 4, 5, or 6. Four and five are the 60s, but as far from the pool as you can get; plus, the standard rooms face away from the Generation Gap Nridge.

Now just determine the order of inportance, and - voila!

I'm booking for January and see a notice that the Hippy Dippy pool will be under refurbishment. I notice no "preferred pool" rooms are available for our dates. I assume they're all booked but is it possible they are reclassifying those rooms for the time the pool is closed?

Yeah, I’d imagine they’d temporarily reclassify them as preferred or even standard, depending on the work they were doing.

That's great . Thank you! And I'd be very happy in 60s building but just didn't mention as I didn't know if they are going to re-categorize these by next summer due to being near the Skyliner.

So only thing...if we just said 'lake view', could we get building 2 or 7? These two seem pretty far from everything but look like they may face the lake.
