My DH and I are thinking of going to WDW in late September to take advantage of free dining. Our anniversary is in October, so this would be an early anniversary trip without our DDs. Which restaurant would you recommend for a nice romantic dinner? I want to try somewhere we haven't been yet. On our last trip our table service meals were at Kona Cafe, Concourse Steakhouse, Grand Floridian Cafe, CRT, Chef Mickeys, and Bomas. :love2:

This is funny because I just replied to a post about Bistro de Paris. That is a wonderful romantic meal. Get a later seating and they will give you all the time and attention in the world. You can enjoy dessert while the park empties out and have a quiet romantic walk out of the park!

BTW the food is great too!

DH and I tried California Grille for the first time last trip. The view is amazing, even if you are not directly against a window, and the tables didn't seem to be on top of each other so it felt like we had a little privacy (or at least we didn't feel like we had to whisper to prevent our neighbors from hearing us). The food and wine were both terrific, too. We will be visiting CG again when we return in three weeks to celebrate our 25th anniversary.

Well our 1st suggestion is V&A, if it fits your budget, not on the free dining obviously, but a wonderful experience. As for a suggestion on the DDP, how about Jiko or Citrico's. These a signature restaurants and require 2 TS credits, but wonderful food, service, & atmosphere. We also think the Bistro De Paris is a great suggestion, although we have not yet tried it. hope this helps  have a great time

Thanks for the suggestions. We don't mind using 2TS credits if it's a really nice dinner.

Another vote for Citricos.

DH & I had our anniversary dinner there last spring. We left DS in the GF kids club (which he loved by the way) and really enjoyed ourselves. Fabulous food and a little pixie dust to boot! We were given a personalized menu with Happy Anniversary written on it and also a special dessert. Magical!

Make sure you mention that it is your anniversary when you make your ADRs and when you check in.

Have a wonderful time,

Susan :cloud9:
