best role for me?

Would someone possibly be able to tell me what they would choose given the following role choices? (FORMER CPs?!?!!) I haven't had an interview yet and would like to be well informed to ask my recruiter for the role I really want. If anyone has any experience in the following areas please give me your insight!

Lifeguard (probably has one of the best wages?) I would probably have no problem passing the class and evaluation; however, I don't really want to stand in the sun all day.

Full service food and beverage - is this to be a host or a server? (or either) I was thinking since servers make tips that might be a good option

Conceirge (I have customer service experience)

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique hostess - I think this might be a fun job.

Im not a former CP, Ill be going in May as a Quick Service Food Cast Member and just went through all the interview processes. My suggestion to you is check off as many roles as you would feel comfortable doing, as there is a limited number of positions in each role, if you limit yourself, you might risk not getting hired as the positions fill up.

That's a good idea, thank you. I indicated "Moderate interest" for all of those roles but I wanted to ask my recruiter for the role I wanted most. Hopefully meeting you at the CP in May!

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think people in the DCP can be servers. We aren't allowed to accept tips at all. So if you did get FSFB, you would only be able to be a hostess/greeter or something like that.

yeah, cps cant be servers. icps can though in the world showcase(i dated an italian who was a server in tutto italia, he got great tips!)

I'm a former CP, so I'll try to give you the best info as to what to expect.

If you haven't been a lifeguard in the past, or aren't a competitive swimmer, I wouldn't expect to get this role. There's not a large pool of lifeguard roles for CPs, so they generally tend to take kids who have a lot of experience.

As far as FSFB goes (this was my role on my first program! <3), you WILL NOT be a server. That is not a CP role. Cast Members wait years on wait lists to become servers. It's an extremely competitive role. You will be what's called a Seater (which is basically a host/hostess).

I've been told Concierge is a competitive role because it's not given out to too many CPs. You have to know A LOT of information about not only WDW but the other Central Florida attractions as well. If you want this role, you really have to stress it to the recruiter and give them examples as to why you believe you're equipped to handle it.

The BBB is also a very difficult to get because I don't think there's anymore than like 20 girls that can even do it at a time due to its limited nature. I'm not a hundred positive how they go about choosing girls for these positions, but I think most come from a cosmetology type of background.
