Best rides to go on at night?

Are there any rides that offer a different feel or experience at night rather than during the day. I know that the view from THunder Mtn. is great at night. Have heard Jungle cruise is slightly different at night, is that true?

The Jungle Cruise is not slightly different at night - it's so different (and so much better) that it's like a different ride.
The Astro Orbiter is better after dark.
BTMRR is way more fun at night. Not for the view, but the ride itself.
Dumbo is better at night.
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin are a bit more fun at night.
7DMT seems like it would be better at night.
Splash Mountain is better at night, too.
Test Track is better at night.

We did Jungle Cruise at night for the first time in March and really enjoyed. I am now thinking that is when we will always try to do it. It's just a bit more magical and mysterious, I think. Peoplemover is good at night. I have also done 7DMT at night. The MK railroad is awesome around sunset. We saw the sun just disappearing as we looked at the Contemporary from the Main Street Station. The lighting is just so magical then.

I also enjoy the Haunted Mansion more at night, in spite of the ride being entirely enclosed. Approaching the Mansion and going through the queue at night just seems to add more to the overall experience for me.

Jungle Cruise is one I would almost only do at night. MUCH better than during the day, IMO.

Big Thunder is absolutely crazy at night!

7dmt is really fun at night, love riding the train at night, BTMRR is great at night too, i love the park at night but ill ride anything anytime lol splash mountain is quite different at night on the outside parts

For sure! 7DMT, rode it first thing in the morning the first time. Got the back of the train, it was zippy and fun! The rest of the time, we have ridden it at night and its even better! Its amazing at night! Sometimes I see people riding it when the fireworks are going, that would be neat. Anyway, you have to get the only back if you like peppy rides, otherwise its just ho hum. But going around the corners at night is great! We always get into it and shout and scream and sing HI HO and clap. Have some fun!

Test Trak is also neat at night.

Not sure why, probably because I love Tomorrowland at night, but I enjoy SpaceMtn at night even though its in the dark. I'll ride it both times, but there's something about it at night, especially if you can run around a few times.

Tower of Terror! Its GREEAT at sunset and neat at night. Great view of the park, and it just fits with the creepy factor.

TOT is a different feel at night! Love all of the others listed above at night. Honestly, the parks after dark are amazing and our favorite time!

I pretty much agree with all the rides that have already been mentioned. The one that I'll add that is a totally different experience during the day and at night is Characters in Flight at DTD.

The great thing about the parks at night is the generally low lighting. There are very few bright overhead lights, some pathways in DHS feel downright dark. But that makes it all the more fun!

I love doing the HM, Dumbo, BTMRR, Teacups and the Speedway at night.
I haven't had a chance to do TT yet at night but am looking forward to it on my next trip!

I REALLY meant to do Jungle Cruise at night last year, never got around to it. It is most definitely on my TO DO list for this year.

I will add, the Indy speedway feels different after dark, as does the People Mover.

Love BTMRR after dark, it is amazing.

Totally, BTMRR at night. It feels so much faster! If the fireworks are going, icing on the cake.

This is one of my favorite topics! I absolutely love rides at night. My top picks are:

1. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
2. Jungle Cruise
3. Haunted Mansion (I know it's indoors, but the ambiance is so much cooler at night. The CM really get into character then, too.)
4. PeopleMover
5. Dumbo, Magic Carpets, or AstroOrbiter (because of the views)

If you can time it right, riding BTMMR during the fireworks show is the absolute coolest thing ever, in my opinion. Have fun!

We were lucky enough to be at AK til 8 pm last fall. Our kids rode EE over and over within the last hour - hour & half (at least 10x)...said they watched the sunset and that the view was INCREDIBLE at night.

Dumbo at night is such a pleasure. Seeing Magic Kingdom from up high all lit up is just wonderful.

I've heard that's really awesome. I just never seem to plan a trip when AK is open after dark. If I ever do, though, that's on my "To Do" list for sure!
