Best Rides at Night?

What rides are "more fun" at night? I've heard everyone loves RSR, but single rider is out for us. Maybe teacups? Silly symphony swings? DD is about 41", so please keep that in mind.

I didn't see the age of your DD, only she's 41"...

In DL when my grandkids were about that size they like several of the rides in Fantasyland at night. Dumbo, Tea Cups, Storybook Canal Boats and Casey Jones Railroad. We avoid the autopia cars due to the fumes.
Splash Mt is also one, this would most likely be the last ride of the evening due the possibility of getting wet.

In DCA Mickey's fun wheel is one that will provide a nice view of the whole area.

We love the matterhorn, and rode it last night. Timing was just right, and we saw the fireworks during our ride!

I remember loving adventureland at night as a kid. Mickeys fun wheel looks like a good vantage point for night. I loved the shooting gallery at night too.

Thanks got all the suggestions! I think we are going to do the Ferris wheel and just walk around. I would love to do more but most of our group just wants to take it easy. I'm doing my best to just go with the flow!

We have one more park night - maybe I'll go crazy and go by myself!!

I love the Storybook Canal Boats at night! Really, it's the only time I'll wait in line to go on them.

I also really love BTR and Jungle Cruise at night.

Grizzly River at night is by far the most different from the day version. It gets really dark up there.
Just grab a poncho if you do not feel like getting wet at night.

It's been awhile since my kids were under 41", so I have to say ahead of time that I don't know which of the following are appropriate for those who might be height-challenged. Having said that --

I agree with what others have said about Storybook Land and BTMM. And we love riding Splash and Jungle Cruise at night. Astro Orbiter can be fun to ride at night when everything is lit up. Kinda boring during the day but better at night. Actually it's fun just being in Tomorrowland at night because of the way it's lit up.

In DCA, Mickey's Wheel of Death is fun at night because you can see the park lit up, HOWEVER, it closes during and after World of Color, so your timing has to be right. As for RSR -- if you get there early enough during the day, you can get a FP for night without having to ride SR. I do like just being in Carsland at night even if I'm not riding because all the neon is pretty cool.

Lots of Paradise Pier rides close before/during World of Color, but Goofy's Sky School is open then and we love riding it at night. The lighting is great, you can see WOC and other lights, and you can't see a lot of the other junk (buildings, etc.) outside the parks. If your DD likes it during the day, she'll like it at night. I'm not sure of the height requirement.

Walking through Carsland is great, even without riding anything. The neon lights are cool and DJ usually has a street show going on. We love Mater's Junkyard Jamboree.

In DL, I love the carousel at night with all its lightbulbs and mirrors. It may close early for fireworks; I can't remember. I also like HM and POC at night. The rides indoors take place in nighttime settings so it's fun to exit the ride and it's actually night outside, too.

I've always liked the Matterhorn at night. The one attraction I try to get on at an evening time is the Mark Twain when Fantasmic is dark.

I've always loved Splash Mountain at night, because there's never any lines! I figure this is because most people don't like the idea of getting soaked at night . However, if you ride in the back seat you hardly get wet--usually a mist from the drop at most.

Not sure what the height requirement is on splash though...or if your daughter would like the big drop at the end, not all kids do

I also love Casey Jr's at night, which definitely is kid friendly

Ohhh, yes - DEFINITELY!! One of the best family memories of any of our trips was catching the fireworks on BTMRR. Love!!!

I **hope hope hope** we can time it right to do it again on our next trip!

I also have to second this. Happened to be on BTMRR last trip during fireworks and loved it. The kids and I timed it perfectly so that fireworks began right as we loaded onto the ride last night. I was squealing with joy the entire time.
