Best resturants in HS

Our Favorite at HS is 50's Prime Time Cafe. They serve comfort food with large portions. Great fried chicken dinner. We enjoy The Sci-Fi for the atmosphere, but the food is just "okay". 50's Prime Time is our choice.

My favorite at HS has to be Sci fi dine in. It is just so cool in there and i can never get over the atmosphere. The food there is very good too. It has pretty standard kinds of food (burgers, sandwich, ribs, and some salads),so if you are looking for something a little more fancy it probably is not the best option. Ive always had a tasty meal there and Ive eaten there probably about 8 times by now. :) I do enjoy 50's prime time as well, but Sci fi takes the win on my fave HS restaurant.

Brown Derby is our go to, it's the only TS on property that we eat at every trip. 50s Prime Time is cute but it's kind of loud and the portions are huge and since the food is comfort food, it's a bit heavy, it worth going to at least once for the atmosphere. Sc Fi is cute and worth going to at least once if for nothing else but to see the movies, the food is not bad, not great but not bad.

Brown Derby and 50's Prime Time are our favorites.

I have not been to Sci-Fi Dine Inn.

I would stay away from Hollywood and Vine and Mama Melrose. The first two I recommended I have found to be the best.

I don't have a lot of experience with the QS locations at HS since we mostly do TS at HS.

50's Prime Time is delicious and super fun. I had such a great time recognizing things my grandmothers had in their kitchen/houses and my mom and I had a great time talking about it. Their food is great and the waitstaff is a hoot! (elbows off the table, missy!) lol!!

We've been to them all and HBD is the only one we go to anymore. The food and service are consistently good. Sci-Fi is super cool, but the food has really gone downhill. The others are mediocre at best.

We ate at 50s prime time the other day and all of us loved our meals. Probably the best meal we have ever had at WDW.

Before our last meal there last week we would have said 50's Prime Time because of their large portions and delicious food. The food is still delicious but the portions sizes have changed drastically, yet the prices remain the same (or higher). We ordered Mom's favorites (the sampler of Pot roast, chicken and meat loaf). In the past the portions were large enough to split, but this time we were still hungry after splitting these. One plate had a very tiny wing and even smaller leg and the other plate had a thigh, pot roast was large enough for a bite or two each, and the meatloaf was about the size of a credit card and pretty thin. We are gonna have to look at Sci Fi next time, which is sad because we have been to 50's on each of our Disney trips in the past.

Does anyone know if they still serve 4 pieces of chicken on the fried chicken plate and are they still large pieces of chicken? No one around us had that plate.

This. DHS is a wasteland of good food options.

Brown Derby and 50s Prime Time are both good but completely different. You could also do the Brown Derby lounge.

We've dined at all the table service restaurants.

We prefer Mama Melrose. We love the calamari, and our kids love the "spaghetti and meatball" cupcakes.

We've liked all our meals so far.

Stick with Brown Derby!!!
I agree 100%. If a signature is not what you are looking for, I would personally only then suggest Sci-Fi Dine-In. Sci-Fi is cute and has decent food, but HBD has very good food and is also a cool experience!
