Best restuarant to eat before MVMCP?

Our 1st Christmas trip from Dec. 16-23. (only our 2nd trip total!) We can't wait. Plan to do MVMCP and want to know what would be a good character meal before the party starts. We have 2 kids, 4 and 8. We were thinking Crystal Palace, but we ate there last time and want something new. We never tried Liberty Tree Tavern?? Any suggestions and tips would be appreciated.

CP is great.

LTT is great! Try to get a reservation around 5:30 so you can be eating while everyone else is waiting for the party to start. We walked out of LTT right at 7:00 when the party started. LTT is the only restuarant that you can make reservations for when you buy your tickets. Last year, the tickets went on sale in May and I made my ressie at that time.

We are going to do CP before MNSSHP this year though just for a change.

If we are in the park before the party and go to eat at 5:30 at LTT, when will we be able to get our bracelets for the party? How early can we get them?

LTT is great, but be prepared to be packed in if you go before MVMCP. We enjoyed the meal, but not the sardine-like experience

Crystal Palace is where we like to eat before MVMCP. We really enjoy the food and the restaurant is so pretty. I do feel the characters are more rushed at this particular character meal than others, but still you get Pooh and friends and for us that is great.

Don't worry about your bracelets -- you definitely do NEED them, but there are several places within the park to get them (even if the tables are out at the front gates for bracelets, they will likely be jammed and there's just no reason to wade/wait through that!). Last year, there was a place right near POC for bracelets -- no wait. We had 5:30 ADR at LTT, enjoyed our dinner, and strolled over to get the bracelets afterwards. In any case, there will be several places within the park to get bracelets!

They start handing out braclets for those entering the park at 4:00p. If you are in the park before then, you don't have to leave. You can find a CM handing out wristbands after 6:00p all around the park.

I've eaten at Chef Mickeys, LTT, CP, Tony's and the Castle. All were good in their own way. LTT characters will have festive arpons or scarfs on for the party. CP is always great for the variety of food. Chef Mickey's is fun but I like being in the park before the party starts.

This year we're going to try Tony's again so DH and try it.

Of all the MK restaurants and since you want soething different from CP, I'd go with LTT.

We ate at LTT for the first time for MVMCP last year. We loved it. They had great character interaction and the food was good.
