I think from all the posts about restaurants, it's pretty obvious that we love our food...

Just wanted to start a thread that thinks specifically for dining with the kids. Suggestions for best restaurants based on some of these factors:

1) Menu - Something other than burger or macaroni cheese would be good
2) Friendliness of staff
3) Quality and value of food
4) Entertainment

Oh yeh, and how was it for the adults too...

On or off-site it doesn't matter.

I think 'Ohana at the Polynesian resort may well cover off 1,2,3 & 4 :)

Check out the thread below called 'Ohana.

Off site, we like Perkins, Chillis and Denny's.

All the WDW restaurants seemed to have a kids menu with games and activities on that kept my 2 DDs amused for a while. They are 9 & 6 to give you an idea of age range. All the restaurants we went to had a slightly different kids' menu (theme, jokes, puzzles etc).

How old are your children? Will they be into character meals or are they past that?

Have you tried Rainforest Cafe? Both my DDs love it there. I do know that if you go into most restaurants and ask for a half portion of an adult meal then (usualy) your server will be only too happy to oblige (as long as you keep their tip up) Also if you just order a few different starters and a couple of jacket potatoes for the little uns then thats a bit more of a healthier option than another hot dog, burger or mac&cheese :)
