We have been to Disney many times but never during Christmas week. We will be making our dining reservations this weekend. What are your favorite restaurants for this busy and festive week? We are staying at the BWI and are a family with grown children.

We have Artist Point and Narcosses on our short list already....would love to hear your thoughts!

We went between Christmas and New Year's last year and enjoyed the "quieter" restaurants. (2 adults) Our favorite was Jiko, which was decorated with gorgeous wreaths and as busy as I've ever seen it but still not crazy or loud. It was really gorgeous weather when we were there so we also really enjoyed the Boathouse outdoor waterside dining (but you can't plan for the weather so either make a contingency plan or resign yourself that you might be indoors). Lunch at Tiffins was another highlight and a quiet respite during a crazy park day. Le Cellier has great "Christmas" type ambiance year round as does Artist Point, which (like Jiko) is worth visiting simply to enjoy the resorts' gorgeous decor.

Enjoy your trip! I hope you get your ADRs as desired!!!

We stayed at BWI during Christmas week 2015 and our favorite restaurants were the ones within walking distance that didn't require sitting in Christmas week traffic! Spice Road Table and Trattoria al Forno are good! For something fancier in EP, try Monsieur Paul. If you aren't on the dining plan, head over to Swan/Dolphin for Kimono"s, I'll Mulino and bluezoo

Definitely take advantage of your great resort location. If parks close to capacity, then even a taxi or Uber could take a lot of time due to traffic congestion.
For me, that would mean a few World Showcase ADR's (may want to consider a Candelite Processional package when released) and other near resorts like YC/BC.

We loved the Plaza at MK, esp at night you can see the lit up castle out of the windows. It's also smaller and more intimate feeling so even though you are next to Main St it doesn't really feel like it inside the restaurant.

Beaches and Cream at BC, although that's a very hard res to get in general. Something, again, about the intimate setting and, I have to say, some pretty spectacular Christmas decorations.

We have an ADR for it on our Dec trip, so we haven't actually tried it yet, but Biergarten at Epcot has Christmas decorations, a tree, and the German band plays Christmas songs.

Yes, we are thinking about Biergarten. We have not been there for years and now that the kids are all adults-it could be a new fun experience.
