Best restaurant to celebrate b-day

Can any one make suggestions for the best place to celebrate a 14 year olds birthday? We are taking daughter and a friend for 5 days .

Also is the "meal deal" worth getting ?? Is it all fast food ? I have read which restaurants are involved but no menus.

Check out Margaritaville for a bday celebration. If you make a reservation when the "balloon guy" is there, you can get a special balloon bday hat. The kids always enjoy that. We also celebrated an anniversary at Mama dellas at Portofino and they had the singers come over and sing Happy Anniversary and gave us a special tray of mini desserts on the house. I'm sure they would do something similiar for birthdays.
We have never opted for the meal deal, so I'm not sure about that.

We are celebrating our youngest DS's 11th bday on our upcoming trip and I made a ressie at Margaritaville (his choice). We've been there before and it's a blast. A couple of years ago I celebrated my bday at Mama Dellas and had a great time (they sang for me) but I think a 14 year would have a better time at Margaritaville. The only other suggestion I have is for the Hard Rock Cafe.

We have celebrated many a Birthday at Universal. Hard Rock Cafe, Bubba Gumps, The Kitchen at HRH and Margaritaville would all be fun for a 14 year old.

In case you are interested in the parks they have a shop that sells hats. They have one that looks like a Birthday Cake with candles. We have had LOTS of fun due to that hat! It now travels with us when we return to celebrate a family members b-day.

It just depends on what your child is interested in. Going by atmoshpere if they like music then go to Hard Rock Cafe; If they like sports then go to NBA City; If they like tropical paradise then go to Margaritaville. But if i had to choose for my children I would choose NBA City because they all love sports and they're 14, and 16. Hope this helps.

We are leaving 6/9 for our wdw/us vacation, whohoo! Anyway we will be celebrating dd 12 birthday at Tchoup Chop on 6/14. I made a note on reservation about b-day let you know how it was when we get back.

I wanted to elaborate why I picked these for celebrating birthdays. They make a BIG deal over the birthday person. places that we would not celebrate a B-Day again, Tchoup Chop, and NASCAR. They didnt sing and they didnt do anything special.

Bubba Gumps has a surprise for the birthday person. The HRC has a special dessert as well as a special way they celebrate it! The Kitchen also has a special dessert and a signed plate made of chocolate to the b-day person. Just make sure wherever you end up that you tell the hostess and your waiter, most times they go out of their way to make it special. Cakes can also be ordered a head of time if you call the restaurant. They can be costly especially at Emeril's two restaurants. The on-site hotels can make birthday arangements of different types if you call their concierge they are very helpful.
