Which ones would recommend for adults?

We are 2 adults, no kids, and we like POR and the Swan/Dolphin. Also liked BWI. Did not like Poly, BC/YC, too crowded with too many young kids (only so much shouting and shrieking a childless couple can take...)

Love POR for the boat to downtown disney and the overall quietness.

My choice would be the Poly. The Poly is my favorite resort for the relaxing tropical surroundings, hammocks on the beach, and the romantic atmosphere of walking around at night under the lit tiki torches . With that said, if you are looking for a resort with night life, I think the BWI would be a good choice for that.

DH & I are childless also and really enjoy staying in the Epcot area. We usually stay in a BWV (it's our home resort) but we stayed at the Dolphin for a night to check it out and really enjoyed that as well.

I would highly recommend WL or GF, WL for the boat ride to MK and it was just very nice and really not very loud at all when we were there.

OP, maybe it's time of year you hit WDW. We (DW & I ) have gone down for the Food & Wine festival (usually October) for the last 8 or 9 years. We've always stayed at YC & BC or the Boardwalk. The access to EPCOT is a major plus for us, it's just an easy walk.
Bottom line I can't say I've noticed any more "shouting and shrieking" kids than at any other moderate or deluxe WDW hotels & resorts we've stayed at. Or maybe we've just been lucky.

We love the BC because of the location, but I know what you mean about all the kids, but it doesn't bother us. That being said I would also choose the GF, it's beautiful and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Our kids are grown but we all still go to Disney every year, it's a tradition.

We are adult only and we like BWI followed by Swan/Dolphin followed by GF.

EPCOT area resorts have larger variety of lounges/restaurants plus Jellyrolls.
